Radiation Therapy: A Summary for the Breast MDT has been developed by the ASBD to provide multidisciplinary medical professionals working with breast cancer patients:

• a relevant educational opportunity to understand the concepts and terminloogy of radiation therapy treatment
• a better understanding of patient selection, side effects and the latest in radiation therapy treatment
• and to achieve better patient care by creating a resource for the MDT members to better appreciate radiation therapy as a treament for breast cancer.
